Parking FAQ
Parking Cost
Parking costs $1/hour at all locations, and $5 for the entire day at off-street parking locations. All meters are free for the first 15 minutes, and the two Kimball Lots are free for the first 3 hours.
If you’re a resident or downtown worker, a monthly parking permit is available for $40 per month.
Why Paid Parking?
The goal of paid parking is to optimize parking turnover, to better accommodate visitors and shoppers frequenting our bustling downtown.
Rates are low and all revenue will be directly reinvested into enhancing parking facilities within the downtown area.
Enforcement Hours
- Monday – Friday: 9am-7pm
- Saturday: 10am-5pm.
Citations and Enforcement
Enforcement is performed through license plate recognitions (LPR) and roving patrollers. On-street, metered parking has a maximum of 3 hours.
Violation or failure to pay for parking will result in a $20 parking ticket. Failure to pay the fine in a timely manner will result in an additional $10 charge.
How To Pay
There will be four main options to pay for parking:
- Pay stations: pay stations will be located conveniently at all paid parking locations. You will be asked to provide your license plate number during payment.
- Single and dual space meters: meters accept coins and electronic payment directly at the meter.
- Pay by Phone: ParkMobile has an app available that will allow you to pay for parking directly. Signs with QR codes will also be available at all paid parking locations to allow you to pay through ParkMobile without the app.
